RSA (Royal Society of the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) House has promoted Tim Barrett-Jolley from Sales and Marketing Manager to Head of Sales and Marketing. The new role comes as the RSA House nears the completion of a nine month refurbishment, started in December 2011.

The new role involves promoting the venue on a number of levels: for internal events for RSA fellows on top of bringing in external corporate clients. Barrett-Jolley will launch the RSA House’s venue spaces, 13 of which are undergoing refurbishment to the events sector in September and will use planned marketing activity to maximise commercial and corporate objectives. Barrett-Jolley heads up a team of 5 in charge of overseeing over 1000 events per year and both the catering and AV contracts.

Barrett-Jolley joins RSA House from Food Show Ltd, a London based caterer where he managed sales and client relations. Whilst at Food Show he developed and supported events at Fulham Palace, 10-11 Carlton House Terrace and the National Gallery.

Prior to Food Show Barrett-Jolley had a number of roles in the food and beverage industry, including running a busy London wine bar.
