Brighton Centre Welcomes Back Tesco For 2012 Wine Fair

Following on from two successful wine fair events, the Brighton Centre has announced that it again will host Tesco’s popular Wine Fair this September.

The Tesco Wine Fair, which looks to attract more than 1,000 visitors, will take place on the 29th and 30th September 2012. With a selection of hundreds of wines from over 14 countries on offer, guests will be given the chance to sample and compare many different wines specific to their interests. All visitors will also be invited on a ‘wine walk’ tour guided by experts who will also be able to answer any questions and find them the perfect tipple. A number of wine workshops have also been scheduled, allowing a select number of visitors a more in depth session with experts and local wine connoisseurs.

“The Tesco Wine Fairs held at the Centre have always proven a brilliant success,” explains Howard Barden, General Manager for the Brighton Centre. “We first welcomed the event to the Centre in 2010, with a return for the 2011 show, ahead of £1m refurbishment’s completion. This year, we are delighted to be able to offer the event an even better experience, thanks to our new and improved venue facilities.”

The Brighton Centre’s refurbishment has allowed for a complete overhaul of Auditorium’s 1 and 2, and has brought the facilities and technologies right up to date, including a newly decorated interior and over 4,000 brand new seating.

This will provide a much more comfortable and enjoyable setting for exhibitors and guests attending the Tesco Wine Fair. To accompany this, the Centre’s technology has been significantly upgraded, with the installation of high-speed broadband, and in addition, free delegate Wi-Fi which allows visitors an even more interactive experience.

The Brighton Centre is situated on the historic seafront of Brighton & Hove and benefits from excellent travel links which provide easy access for visitors. As Sarah Florence, organiser of the Wine Fair, explains: “A key requirement in choosing a venue of the Tesco Wine Fair is a location that can be easily accessed by all, both internally and externally. The Centre is located within easy walking distance of the station with excellent transport links and ample parking nearby for those driving. With the venue itself, the Brighton Centre is able to cater to our event needs, and has sufficient space to allow delegates a relaxing and pleasurable experience.”
